Our Training Team
Michelle
Michelle started her hairdressing career as an Apprentice in a Brighton Salon. After completing her NVQ level 3 at Lewes college, she went on to teach there part time alongside managing a salon in Crawley.
Michele went on to owning her own salon in Brighton and gaining her Assessor & Verifier awards. Michele has worked throughout Sussex with apprentice's and their employers, been responsible for health & safety of salons and assessing Level 2 and Level 3 students with Sussex Downs College, before joining The Academy team in January 2020. Michele says, 'I love working with Apprentices and seeing them progress with Skills & confidence.'
Justine
Justine has been The Academy training manager for over 15 years and has worked for the Richard John group since 1998. Her expertise is extensive and she has successfully helped many aspiring young stylists achieve their ambitions.
Justine commented: “In order to secure our future we knew we had to train our own stylists, offering our clients a more accessible service, whilst creating a more comprehensive learning experience for our apprentices.”

Our Graduates, who have finished their training and now work full time in the salon, offer great value for money and our inimitable personal service.
